Arun Vaidyanathan is a US-based software professional-turned filmmaker who learnt filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.
He has made eight short films so far and most of them have won international awards. As you wish won accolades at the Lower East side film festival in New York while Br(a)illiant won the 'Exile Award' at the London Vimbam Film Festival.
He was also selected as Mania TV's 'Featured Film Maker' twice and his short film Stinking cigar was selected as the 'Featured Film.'
Now, the talented filmmaker is ready with his first feature film Achamundu! Achamundu!. Though the film is in Tamil, it is made in the US with the technical crew from Hollywood. The film is said to be the first Indian film to have used the Red Camera.
